PetPad Community Guidelines

Treat others the way you would want to be treated. The following are not allowed:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any person;
• Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Content that humiliates, shames, or targets an individual or group.

Do not use PetPad to share content or take actions that are unlawful or that put people at risk, including:

• Content that promotes, facilitates, or instructs others in illegal activity;
• Graphic violence, gore, or content intended to shock or disturb;
• The sale or promotion of illegal or regulated goods;
• Content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or organized criminal activity.

PetPad is not a platform for sexual content. The following are prohibited:

• Pornography, sexually explicit material, and sexual solicitation;
• Nudity or sexually suggestive content.

Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly and absolutely prohibited. Such content will be removed immediately, the account will be terminated, and the matter will be reported to the relevant authorities as required by law.

PetPad is intended for users aged 13 and above, and users aged 13 to 17 may use it only with parental or guardian consent. To keep younger users safe:

• Do not create an account if you are under 13;
• Do not solicit, collect, or share personal information belonging to a minor;
• Do not attempt to contact, groom, or arrange to meet a minor through the Platform.

If you believe a minor is at risk, or that any of the above is taking place, report it immediately using the tools described below.

PetPad celebrates pets, and animal welfare comes first. The following are not allowed:

• Content that depicts, promotes, encourages, or glorifies animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, or fighting;
• Content showing animals in distress for entertainment or shock value;
• Instructions or encouragement that could lead to harm to an animal.

PetPad is a social and services platform, not a marketplace for animals. You must not use the Platform to buy, sell, trade, rehome for value, advertise, or otherwise facilitate the transfer of ownership of any animal, whether directly or indirectly, except where expressly permitted by PetPad under separate written terms. This includes, without limitation:

• Listings or solicitations for the sale or exchange of pets;
• Breeding offers, stud services, or animal brokering;
• Any transaction involving animals that are protected, endangered, or subject to trade restrictions.

We remove related content and take enforcement action wherever this activity is identified.

Trust depends on authenticity. The following are not allowed:

• Impersonating another person, pet, business, or organization;
• Creating accounts to deceive, mislead, or evade enforcement;
• Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or the origin of your content.

Keep the community genuine. The following are not allowed:

• Spam, repetitive or unsolicited content, and mass unsolicited messaging;
• Scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive financial schemes;
• Artificially inflating engagement, followers, rankings, or any gamification outcome through bots, fake accounts, or coordinated manipulation;
• Distributing malware or malicious links.

Respect the rights of others:

• Do not post another person’s private or identifying information without their consent;
• Do not share content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights;
• Only post content you have created or have the right to share.

We care about the wellbeing of our community. Do not post content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional or local support service. Where appropriate, PetPad may surface relevant support resources.

Do not share content that may put people or animals at risk, including false or dangerous information relating to pet health, fake treatments or "remedies," or advice that could cause harm if relied upon. Content available on PetPad is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.

Where the Platform offers messaging or direct-communication features, all of these Guidelines apply to those communications. You must not use messaging to harass, spam, intimidate, deceive, solicit minors, or engage in any unlawful conduct. We may provide tools to report or block other users, and we may review, restrict, or remove communications where reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines, protect users, prevent abuse or fraud, or comply with the law.

We use a combination of automated systems and human review to keep the community safe. Depending on the severity and context of a violation, we may:

• Allow clearly compliant content to remain;
• Automatically remove content that clearly and seriously violates these Guidelines;
• Route borderline or ambiguous content to human review before any action is taken;
• Issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account.

The most serious violations — in particular, content that endangers a minor or threatens someone’s safety — are acted on immediately and may be reported to the relevant authorities. We aim to apply these Guidelines consistently and fairly, and we may consider the context and history of an account when making enforcement decisions.

If you believe we have taken action against your content or account in error, you can contact us using the details below, and we will review the matter.

If you see content or behavior that breaks these Guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools, where available, or by contacting us at the address below. You can also block accounts you do not wish to interact with. We review reports and take appropriate action, and we do not tolerate retaliation against people who report violations in good faith.

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time as the Platform and our community evolve. When we make significant changes, we will provide notice through the Platform. Your continued use of PetPad after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
